Who

Seller-side pages carry the byline of Michael Hummel, Managing Partner, who runs the firm's sell-side engagements. Buyer-side pages carry the byline of Mike Ehde, Partner, who runs Acquisition Launch, the firm's buyer program. The guidance reflects what our deal team sees in live transactions: what buyers ask for in diligence, what lenders approve, what kills deals at the letter of intent stage, and what owners actually take home.

Where the numbers come from

No figure appears on a page unless it exists in our facts database with a source and a retrieval date. Public sources include BizBuySell's closed-transaction data, the IBBA and M&A Source Market Pulse survey, SBA program rules, state licensing boards and departments of revenue, the IRS, trade associations, and press releases from acquirers and their sponsors. Munera's own data covers buyer mandates in our network, offers and letters of intent we have reviewed, and transactions we have advised on; it is cited as "Munera Capital transaction and buyer data" and is never attributed to a client by name.

How AI is used

We use AI models to draft pages from our facts database and page templates. The model is instructed to use only the figures it is given, and an automated check rejects any draft containing a number that is not in the facts payload, any duplicated section, and any page too similar to another. Drafts are then reviewed by the bylined author and our deal team before publication: hub pages, valuation guides, buyer landscapes, reports, and comparisons are read in full; state, city, and question pages are checked against their facts rows and sampled. The authors add first-hand deal observations to industry pages.

How pages are kept current

Each page shows a facts version and an updated date. The updated date changes only when the facts or the content change. Facts are re-verified at least quarterly, and pages whose underlying figures move are regenerated from the reviewed version and re-checked.
